A message from a friend emailed to mes...Take time to read...
We convince ourselves that life will better after we get married, have baby then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are.
After that, were frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of the stage. We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse get his/her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, or when we retire
The truth is there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now,when? Your life will always be filled with challenges. It's best to admit this to yourself decide to be happy anyway. Happiness is the way. So treasure every moment that you haved and treasure it more with someone special, special enough to spend your life with and remember that time wait for no one.
So stop waiting...
-until your car or home is paid off
-until you get a new car or home
-until your kids leave the house
-until you go back to school
-until you lose ten pounds
-until you finish school
-until you get a divorce
-until you get married
-until you have kids
-until you retire
-until summer
-until spring
-until winter
-until fall
-until you pass away
There is no better time than right now to be happy...
Happiness is a journey..not a destination

all these things are true that is really the way that life works out for us. My grandmother use to say we they are little children make your hands hurt, when they are older they make your heart hurt.

Hi sweetbarbie. Very nice message indeed. People nowadays seem to have forgotten how to be happy. They concentrate more on achieving and gaining more out of live--even at the cost of forsaking their own happiness. At the end of it all, if there isn't a bit of happiness within us, all the things we achieve--success, money, fame, power--might not be well worth it. So it's nice to be happy indeed.

Well I never thought that getting married of having a kid would make me happier but I understand your point. Every one wants whats next in life right now! I personally try to take in every momenet. For instance my sister in law always "can't wait till her son is older or going to school". I rememeber when my daughter was starting to walk and my sister in law said some thing about not being able to wait till she walked. I remember saying some thing like I CAN!! I cherish every moment with my daughter. I am look forward to what she is going to do next but I also just let her be in the stage she is in. I don't try to push it to the next like a lot of people do.
I try to live my life like there is no tomorrow because I know that you can leave this earth at any moment.

how i wished I feel the same experience but whew never been a mother yet..hehehe, maybe 3 years from now...maybe when the time comes, I'll be glad to share the same thoughts...be happy

It is so meaningful and valid!
Of late I have been seeing and coming across a lot of messages like this.
It seems to be kinda like a message to me.
I should take heed and pay more close attention to the people and the things around me.
Looks like the Laws of Attraction in the Secret is attracting something to me.

I agree with you on your words. I have heard this adage before about life being a journey not a destination.
I think that maybe people need to complain or they just are never satisfied in life. I would admit that I am not always satisfied myself.
Happiness is something I believe we can find from within now as you are trying to put out here. What is the sense in waiting for happiness or for something to make us happy.
Let's just find the blessings in our lives now and let life happen the way it is supposed to. Take care!
