The song you are about to listen to is from a Las Vegas Diamond Rio concert. They received an immediate resounding standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform it! Everyone who loves America should be thrilled to hear this song! and its so sad!Although Diamond Rio has never before done a statement song, they felt compelled to record 'In God We Still Trust.' But guess what? Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because it was considered 'politically incorrect'. Consequently, the song was never released to the public.

My brother sent this to me in an email and I couldnt here it so I googled it.
and Came up with this .
Now this is very wrong as they wont let the radio stations play it for they say it is politically incorrect!!!! What!
And what do you think!

hey LKo,
I've never heard of diamond rio before this, but I can say that was a beautiful song as well as a beautiful video! It sounds like it may be a country band what people should do is go to they're favorite radio stations web site & contact them letting them know they want that song on the play list-I know one of my favorite stations shine 96.7 has a feature like that & they even broadcast it on the radio "let us know what you want to hear" it's contemporary Christian so I don't think that song would fit in with the genre or I'd request it there because it's definitely Christian genere-I'll check out His radio 89.3 they have a mix of contemporay & more
Thannks for sharing
((hugs))
ps
I have a link to shine 96.7 w/ listen live & videos here:

I love the song. It seems like I have heard it, not sure if they performed it on the awards show? I see nothing wrong with playing it on the radio. Others use the word God in their songs. It sort of reminds me too years ago when George Strait's song "The Fireman" some stations would not play it but not because it had the word God in it. Radio stations need to let us hear the music and let us decide if we want to hear it or not. I would rather hear that than what I have seen on TV some of the rapper songs that are F this and F that.

I think it is yet more evidence that we do indeed have a state religion/faith. The only one allowed to be mentioned in education.. and a faith it is, as contrary to what many seem to think this faith/theory has never come even close to being proven, in fact science strongly disproves it. Why some things still in the textbooks have been debunked and the writers of the texts know it. I think it is more evidence where the nation and world is headed. The more "In God we Trust" is rooted out, the worse society will become, for what happens when the foundation of a building is shattered?
- Great song by the way! (Freedom is now freedom for some. They say 95% of the citizens believe there is God, so I guess it's the minority that rules?)

I loved it and don't understand why they won't play it. I guess they are afraid of upsetting someone. They are meee!

I am not sure but is that not infringing on their freedom of speech?

You would think if there were a music genre that would welcome a song like that, it would be country. But the radio stations these days aren't locally owned. And the owners are scared of the flack that May happen. So they would rather not air any song that may cause trouble.

wow, what a beautiful song. I just dont understand why they wont play it. All this 'political correctness' stuff is getting out of hand. a lot of thought went in to writing this song. what gets me is some of the songs that are allowed to be aired. they shouldnt be thats for sure. i dont understand it
best wishes to you, lakota, and take care
