Humans are ominvorous, we can survive on an all plant diet or a diet with meat and plants, but we can not survive on an all meat diet. Same thing with dogs.
Cats are carnivorous and can survive on an all meat diet but can not have any plants. They use plants to help them throw-up when they're not feeling well....sort of like humans sticking their fingers down their throat.

Honestly, it's not healthy to eat vegetables only. We should eat both food because we can also get nutrients from meat. However in every things we should have a moderation in every food that we take.
