Heehee...what a smart cat..shhh...hope my Pyewacket and Kissy don't see that video...might give them ideas. Thanks for sharing this...adorable! That cat must have thought it was his favorite kibble. My two cats have a habit of opening the kitchen closet where I store their dry food.

Hi Grandpa Bob, thanks so much for sharing, I was in hysterics, bless him, you can't get cross with him could you? He was resolute, he was getting those biscuits! Very sneaky too, I love animals being caught getting up to mischief because it's not put on, it's total innocent and you can read their minds what they are thinking! Remarkable!

That's cute! He was getting what he wanted. He could have just knocked it over and it would have made it easier on him. LOL Isn't it funny what some animals can do? I guess they can always find a way to get what they want huh?

I have seen that on TV a couple of times and that is a very smart cat. When I saw it on TV I just thought it was cat treats or cat food, I had no idea it was peanuts. When we moved out here where we live now my cat was young and some times she would come to the patio door with a meow so different, such a proud meow for her newest "find" to bring home. This happened on Sunday mornings after she was let out. One morning I did see her come over the back fence with her Sunday morning find, it was Sunday newspaper. They always roll them up and put them in clear plastic bag and she would haul it home. Of course it was twice her size but oh how proud she was. She did this about 3 different Sunday's then quit. She would also bring home scratched off lottery scratch off tickets. I would always check them just in case. I did tell her to stop bringing home the ones that were losers and find some winners. hahaha

I remember reading, about 10 years ago, about a klepto kitty that kept nicking knickers... brought home something like 60 pairs...

That was really good, amazing how that cat opened that bottle..But as you know, I am more of a dog person, especially beagles, and when I saw the link to view, "The great beagle escape" I had to watch..Did you see that one? I am sure the dog didn't get hurt jumping from that distance, but that was dangerous..

The beagle we had when I was little would dig under the fence, but then again if they are in a kennel with a cement floor, I guess that would be out of the question..lol

Animals are such entertainment! Very cute. I'm surprised he doesn't just knock it over after he's got the top off.

That is what I found so cool about the cat.
He was smart enough not to let them fall on
the floor and took from the jar/bottle.
Too cute.

Hi GRANDPA BOB,
Yes, this cat is really cute and very clever, he had more semse not to knock the bottle down, so the owner won't suspect it a cat that stole the peanut and with is paw as well, my cat won't eat peanuts. Thanks for shring this with us.

Thanks for posting that. That cat is so intelligent, he actually unscrewed that lid and got the food out. I showed my little daughter it too, she thought it was amazing.
My ginger tom cat could open up the doors by jumping on the door handles. If he could of only fed himself too like that clever cat, I would not have needed to do anything for him.
Thanks again. Good video Grandpa Bob

that cat is cute...smart cat...owner should sent this video to a television network and put this cat on tv...on that one animal blooper show...i forgot what it is called.
my pets are like that too...if they want something bad enough they will get it some way...they have taught me that "if there is a will, there is a way." and they always get their way, somehow.

Isn't that great?????? I love that video!
I used to have a cat who loved peanuts. My parents would send me "care packages" every so often and there were always Planters Peanuts in the box. I would open it and within seconds, I would have a cat on the couch behind me. If I ignored him, I would soon have one paw, then another, on my shoulder, until all of him was on my shoulder. If I continued to ignore him and eat my peanuts without sharing, a paw would slowly reach forward, dip into the can and snag a peanut. He also loved peanut butter - that was a sight to watch, too! He'd eat it right off the spoon and it would take forever for him to get it out of his mouth, but sure enough, he'd be back for more. None of them could have opened a jar, though.

LOL thats cute!
Thinking of cat burglars the day after my surgery my boyfriend left his cam on facing the backyard while he went to get his cats. He told me to "watch the yard and tell me what i saw" (honestly i was easily entertained that day) So my mom decided i should take a screenshot of the image on the cam and we'd add something to it....a coupla burglars. (I'm going to add a pict)
