Where have all my Mylot friends gone?

A couple of months ago I pretty much asked the same question..where did everyone go? A Lot of people I knew are now gone from MyLot. I see alot of fresh new faces. I don't start many discussions. But I do try to start several a week. Some days I am on a role and make several. But it really depends onw hat mood I am in and how many I have to respond to. The members I see who start discussions every daya nd alot of them, tend to never come back and read the response or respond. Not all, but most are that way.

I have not been here very long, but I know what you mean. I have noticed friends have disappeared completely of Mylot. I have not seen a few for about a month either. It is strange. I miss a few of them too.

If you are talking about this particular weekend, everyone might just be recovering from over-eating. Quite a lot of things seem to get quieter during the holidays like this, probably because they're spending time with family instead of being on their computers.

yep it slows down around this time of the year i find. people out shopping and getting tings together for thanksgiving and Christmas.then there are those that could be taking a break from postin. I know I got burned out and took a few months off before.

People come and go here all the time. I find it difficult sometimes to find enough time to spend here, so I have spells when I'm not here at all, then back for a few weeks, then gone again. It seems like most of my friends are the same. I don't start many discussions because very few people reply to them, so I spend most of my time responding to other discussions, which I feel allows me more time to contribute.

It seems that I haven't seen you for some time. I noticed that your this discussion was post two months ago. I hope you are still active in Mylot. I love China

Well, unfortunately there are many people here who are leaving this site due to many situations, so we are loosing a lot of the people who were here from the Very beginning as well. I know a lot of my friends as well have given up on this site, and choosing to be elsewhere for various reasons as well. I am always having to go thru my friends, etc. and update it and such as well.

That is normal. Most people here are only around to make money and as soon as they found out that making money is not that easy here, they will leave. Those who stay behind are those who are here for more than money. Members who are here to make friends, to share ideas, to learn something from others, to help others are normally members who stay for a long time and they would keep on posting regardless of the outcome of their posts. That's why while you see many active members are relatively new based on their number of posts that they have done, there are still a few of them who have high number of posts. These are the people who appreciate myLot for other things besides money. I love the money part but now I am not so concerned about the money part as I am enjoying myLot very much since I have learned quite a lot of new things here and made some new friends along the way.
