My fathers is a chain smoker for so many years. No matter how we tell him to stop smoking, he not listens. We know that it is not good for his health and we are afraid of losing him so early. I wonder why he loves to smoke so much. I am so curious even before I was a child so one day, I tried to get a cigarette and imitate my father the way he smokes. After I tried, I cough so much and I found out that smoking is not nice. It not tastes good for me. How can we solve the problem on this? Is there a way to remove his vice on smoking?

THere are several things that u can to do help someone quit smokoing.no matter what you do,encourage them at very step along the way.
understand behaviour change:Behaviuor change helps over six stages and your goal is to help them move into the next phase-except for stage 6.
1. Precontemplation: In this stage a person doenot think anything is wrong in his behaviour (encourage them ti think about it)
2. Contemplation: Acknowledge that a problem exists.(encourage them to consider options that exist to change their behaviour)
3. Preparation: There is atleast a loose commmitment to change(Encourage them by repeating their stated goalstell them to believe they can do it.offer to assit them if necesssary)
4. Action: They are taking action to change there behavior(cheer themon as they accomplish their goals tell them how gud they're doing and be avaliable for them)
5. The behavior has changed to their goal behavior some stay here perminently.
6. Colapse or Lapse: They turn to their old behavior fully or partially(help them to focus on what they're accomplished, not their failures, talk about how next time can be different)
THere is no thing you can do to cause someone else to quit ANY habit. All you can do is to be there and sympathitic without enabiling and do nothing to prepetuate their habit. It is their SOLELY up to them!!!
