Questions on what all we get paid for...

I joined myLot as a means to enter discussions and at the same time make some extra $$. In order to do this in the most efficient way, I was wondering what myLot bases our pay off of. If we start a new discussion, do they pay us off the number of responses we get...do the number of responses we get affect how much we get paid? If we reply to a discussion started by another member, does it depend on how long our response is as to how much we get paid? Or does anyone know if they actually read our discussions and pay us based of the relativity? If someone could clarify some or all of these questions, I would really appreciate it. I saw there was a discussion started on if we get paid for blogs as well, but the question was still unanswered. I do not know the answer to this, so if someone could help answer this question as well, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

i am not sure exactly how the payment system works but i do not think anyone really knows. i just post a few discussions a day but i respond to a lot more maybe anywhere between 20 to 50! usually per day i made between 0.30 to 1.00 the most i have made in a day was 1.25 and i was on pretty much all day. i am not sure if they read our discussions or not.

Yeah, nobody really knows. The most that I ever made in a day was $1.11 and I also was on pretty much all day. I wish I knew if they read our discussions are not. I have always wanted to know that. I would like an answer to this as well. :)

Thanks for the response! I've already started several discussions on here and it's only my second day. I made $0.24 on my first day, which I don't think is to bad! I didn't have a clue what it was going to be, but I was pretty pleased with it considering it was very easy "work". I'm making sure to respond to everyone's responses to me too, so hopefully that is beneficial to me as well! And I honestly don't care if they read our discussions :) Sounds like a fun job if you ask me..!

mylot actually has a special system that determines how they pay you. if all your responses are like 1 line long then you are not going to get too much money. if all your responses are about 5 or more lines then you should get quite some more money. i am not really sure about the blogs. oh yeah i forgot to tell you that the more popular your response for example, a lot of people respond to it then i think they pay you some. happy mylotting...peace out -gbeast95

Yes, we do not know the special system. We just know that it depends on the quality of our responses. 5 lines or more is about right. I don't know about the blogs, either. I am not sure if they pay you more if your response or discussion is popular. Now that is something that I am going to be wondering about now. *LOL* :)

Thanks for the response! It really helped a lot, and I'll be sure to start discussions that are as interesting as possible, that way to get a lot of responses in return! And I am definitely making sure everything I write on here is as lengthy as possible. If anything, that's what everyone is saying, that the longer and more relative, the better. Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out!

There is no definite answer in your discussions since the earning algorithm itself is a discreet information and never been revealed by admin and it's a forbidden language. If you gonna try to dig into that then it won't be any longer before you know that your post is gone. But you earn from the discussion/s you have started and yes it depends on hoe many response you have and it's quality as well. Quality response is all that matters most here as it reflects in the guidelines but as to how much no one really knows. I don't have anything to say about the blog, I am still an alien in that category and don't have time doing something that would give you more time with it's technicalities.

From what i have seen so far, my own guess is that you need to write a fairly long post, at least 4 lines and you get paid 1 cent for one posting that you make. thats what i was told by the other members. It doesnt matter where you post it.Possibly the best answers get an additional cent ...anybody's guess..

Things that have been suggested to me to increase earnings (I'm not sure how well they work or not) Post quality responses/discussions of at least four lines. Take the time to Rate discussions even if you arent responding after you read them post photos in discussions where applicable Take the time to answer people who respond to you. Avoid discussions that are violating the mylot terms.

Nobody really knows or if they know it they are keeping things to themselves. All that are floating around are conjectures or assumptions based on experiences and/observations. All of the assumptions may have some truth but the real truth lies behind closed doors. I see an advantage over not knowing what really gets paid and what is not. Let us say we have to write at least 5 lines. I guess the number of participation would decrease. As it is we have a number of one sentence responses keeping certain discussions alive.
