Hi everyone!
Well this is very early for me to post a new discussion. I woke up 530 am because of a stray kitty who kept crying the whole night. I don't know who owns her. Yesterday while doing th laundry I saw her inside the backyard of my neighbor. I think she fell from the wall at the other side of the fence. She has been crying the whole day. I pity her and wanted to get her but the neighbor's house was closed. Theres no one inside.
I have cats in my backyard. Well they're not actually mine. From the day I moved into this apartment they have been there and that was more than 10 years ago. So generation after generation they stayed there. I feed them though they are not mine. I have dogs for a pet.
There is a fence dividing my neighbor's backyard and mine. But last night I saw the kitty inside my yard. I tried to feed her and join her with the rest of the group but they don't like her. The were hissing at her and she doesn't like to eat too. She just keeps crying but stops every time she sees me. I think she wants to go inside the house. I can't take her in cause I have dogs and besides she could be sick of something like worms and my dog might get infected.
Since she don't want to eat and she can't mingle with the group, what am I going to do with her? I don't want another additional cat in my backyard but I don't have the heart to forsake her.

Check with your vet or local animal hospital. They will often take in strays that are too young to fend for themselves. That kitten might be nursing still which is probably why it's not eating.
It probably won't do any good to mention your neighbor's litter if the litter has rejected it already. Just tell them it's a stray that wandered into your yard. Often vets will care for them until they are adopting age and then look for a home for it.
