Do you realize how BIG the traffic lights are?

I never paid attention to this until today, when I saw someone carrying one. Those traffic lights are HUGE!!! I mean, they're over half the size of a person. The round part where the light is can fit someone's head in it. They sure don't look that big when they're in the air, hanging from the poles...

Yes they are huge aren't they? I have seen some before up close. When they changed some of them out here we happen to be driving by and got to see them down towards the ground.

Yup, they were putting new ones up at an intersection I was stopped at. It was very interesting to watch them work.

Oh ya you are right. They dont seem to big as they are very high I guess. But we need those big lights because people have to see from far too. I can imagine how heavy it must be too.
