What time does it start to get dark where you are at?

It gets dark here about the same time. I'm also on the East Coast. I hate the early darkness. It makes it feel too late.

about 4:30 pm

I live in Vancouver , British Columbia. It starts getting dark around 5 pm. Yeah, that's normal for places along this latitude. Have a nice dark evening !!

It gets dark around 5:30 p.m. here in Oklahoma, I mean completely dark. It used to get dark around 9pm during the summer. I don't like the time change myself, I don't like it getting dark early because it doesn't give you much time do things outside. Its also taken me awhile to get used to the time change, I kept waking up earlier in the morning, and at night I would get sleepy earlier..lol.

Im in England, East Anglia and it gets dark here around 4.30pm in the afternoon.

Hi cream97, Our time change here the UK around 4.00 and its just about getting dark, but I don't like it, its too gloomy, I love the sunshine, it used to get dark around 9 or ten in the summer. Tamara

I live in Missouri. It starts to get dark here about 4:30pm. To give you an idea, it is 5 after 5pm here right now. And it is dark. There is a definite need for car headlights.

Around 4.15pm in my part of England, we are having to shut the front curtains almost as soon as we get in from school. The back windows look onto the garden which is very private and I don't close those curtains until hubby goes to work. I don't want everyone in the street looking in at me and what I am doing!! Not that I am doing anything special or wrong

Hi cream, I think we have the same time because I am living in North Carolina maybe few hours from where you are now. Yes I like this time of year when it gets dark earlier. I don't like when there is still sun and it's already 7 or 8 pm? and we are not getting that early today unlike before that 7am is still very dark..

Hi cream. It gets dark here about that time too. I'm in FL. I don't like the time change. My body still isn't used to it. I wake up early and get tired early. Oh wait, I'm tired all day LOL It's getting cold here in FL - and dark

I am from Alberta and it gets dark like at 6.00. And also the sun rise is pretty late. I really hate it when it is like this. People are more lazy and tire faster and also we never feel like getting up in the morning. club that with the cold weather and we have a lousy day!!!!

Hello. I'm from Philippines and it gets dark here at around 5:45, it used to bew 6:00 but i do not know what happened, lol. I like it coz the surrounding gets cooler when it getting dark.. :)

In Arizona it gets dark about 5:30. Arizona doesn't have daylight savings time. I like it when it gets dark early. I don't like the long summer days.

It is getting darker by 6 pm nowadays because it is winter here already in the southern part of India.During summer the day is ling and the sun sets at 7 pm.

i'm on the same coast,so we're about at the same time,though it seems a lil closer to 4:30 for me.i don't mind it getting dark earlier,but it cuts down on my yardwork unfortunetly.

Hello cream. I was thinking of posting a similar discussions yesterday evening when it was getting dark. I noticed it very carefully that it gets very dark at 6:30pm. So it means that more electricity is to be used than the other seasons because the early arrival of darkness. I like it when it gets dark as we can no nothing to change it. lol. Good day, cream.

i dont like at all this winter time.the time is 4:00 in the afternoon but its very dark and cold already.i thought its in the middle of the night but when i looked at my watch its just 4:00 p.m

It starts getting dark over here in England really early now especially now the clocks have gone back too. The sun starts setting at around 16:00 to 16:30 and by about half five it may as well be nighttime. Hate having to drive home from work in the dark I mean I love driving at night don't get me wrong but on the way home from work it just feels way too early. Feels like i've lost my day as I normally get into work just as the sun starts rising....will be glad when our summers here.

In England kent it starts to get dark around five at the moment but it will soon be dark at four o'clock.My son comes home from school about that time so it is not to bad ,we all settle in around the tv or do something else,it is cosy.
