As a kid, it was over the river and through the woods to grandmother's house we go to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner. Actually, we took the highway to get there ;) When my brother's and I got older and moved out of the house, it was over the river and through the woods to a restaurant with a buffet we would go. And yes, sometimes there were woods! lol
We hardly ever ate a home cooked thanksgiving meal at grandma's again.
So, I guess my question is, are there any mylotters that go out to eat on Thanksgiving?

My house is where Thanksgiving has been since i got married many years ago lol. But i would not mind going out to a nice restaurants for Thanksgiving dinner. That would be a treat in itself but i would also make sure i had Thanksgiving dinner at home too. Its our tradition. My boys always come home for turkey day and Christmas. This year my oldest son who is in the army wont be home for Thanksgiving but he will be for Christmas.

Traditions are hard to break. It was kind of weird going out to eat after having Thanksgiving at grandma's since we were kids. But grandpa wanted to give grandma a break after all of those years. LOL
Glad your son will make it home for Christmas!
