How do you stay motivated to exercise?

What are the ways you all stay motivated to exercise? I want to start working-out put I have absolutly no motivation. I will go to the gym three to four times a week one week and then I will not go for a couple of weeks. Grrr...I just need some help to get motivated. What to you all use?

Get excited about what you are doing. And, what you can do after you lose the poundage. Shopping for new clothes, shoes, acessories. Going places you didn't feel comfortable or good about going before. Get with someone else and strike up a competition. Whatever works!

hi there it is really difficult to get up and go to the gym. i used to have dozens of excuses to skip a day in the gym...then another day...then another day... LOL! sometimes i say that ii am too tired to work out at night. then wheni change my schedule to morning, i would say it is hard to get up early. oh well :-) but after several attempts, i finally found three things that motivate me. one is that i have a gym partner who is quite determined to exercise. second is that we enrolled in this air-conditioned and expensive gym for three months. we could barely afford the enrollment fee so we force ourselves to go to the gym everyday, otherwise, we waste a lot of money. and third is that i just remind myself how good it feels after working out. thanks and have a nice day!
