Do you put your laundry behind the refrigerator or in the oven to dry ?

I have a little brother who rarely does his laundry the normal way ,that is washing and then hanging out to dry instead he prefers to wait till last minute and then he hangs them behind the refrigerator to dry and finishes the process via ironing for the next morning . I have seen people also put their clothes in the microwave but I am not a big fan of this method.Something about my clothes being in the place where my food goes doesnt resonate with me Thats my belief though ,have you ever done any of the above ? lol

Hanging it on the back of the fridge is something I have never heard of before ,mine is far to dusty to hang anything on as as for putting it in the oven no way my clothes are far to precious to risk burning them and what an expensive way to dry washing, mine goes on the line outside, rads, or dryer.

hi ronnyb your question made me SMILE. i remember that i have a brother who puts his wet clothes behind the refrigerator but i do not think he ever tried putting it in the oven LOL! but maybe that's because we did not have an oven when we were younger. LOL! thanks for the laugh! take care!

We dry our clothes normally by hanging them in clothesline if we manually wash them. And if we used the washing machine, we would also spin dry them through this same machine, particularly if the sky is quite gloomy and the rain is seemingly on its way to pour down, or if we need the washed clothes urgently. But some years back, my guardian and aunt tried placing a piece of washed cloth at the back of the refrigerator and after about ten to twenty minutes, she was surprised to discover that the refrigerator's back could double as a drier as well. I remembered this incident from then until now that I'm already married. So, when there are a few small pieces of clothes which are still not dried or if our clothesline is full of wet clothes, I also try this technique. I guess this doesn't cost much, too. Regarding the oven, I have never tried placing any clothes in there. And, we don't have our oven with us here in the city where we reside at the moment. We left it in my parents' house in the province but we're going to use it when we already have our own house and settle there in the future.

Hi Ronnyb, I prefer to dry my laundry the conventional way - that is, put out in the sun. However, I've a friend who has a real quirky way of drying his clothes - hang them next to the air-conditioner compressor (this blows out hot air)!. He lives in an apartment, and his compressor is at the balcony, so he could do that !

Neither one I have never put my laundry behind the refrigerator I can't get behind my fridge nor have I ever dried any clothes in the oven. I always use my clothes dryer. Before I got a clothes dryer I would hang them outside on a clothes line.
