Is that a statement or a question? Not sure what response you are looking for. I can tell you that I was involved in the consumer electronics industry for many years. Sony are a very over hyped product, in my experience their reliabilty is only on par with the budget manufacturers. They rely heavily on the perception of a quality product when in fact they are really good at marketing. The amount of customers that insisted on Sony products ensured they sold well. It was good business for our out of warranty repairs though, as they go wrong a lot and we probably made money in the servicing than when the product was sold new.

Yea, sony has the widest range of LCDs but what answers do you expect. We all love sony. I have sony Wega in my house. What tv do you like?
