Hi, I have a number of favorite writers like Ed McBain, Lawrence Sanders, Ruth Rendell, Anne Perry, Martha Grimes, the Kellerman couple, Jeffrey Deavers and Sir Conan Arthur Doyle (Sherlock Holmes). What about you?

Edgar Allen Poe. His writing is brilliant. I love the Romantic period more than any literary period. The Raven is my favorite poem and The Pit and the Pendulum is a great short story. I just love his writing style and themes.
