Have you seen The Happening? I love that movie. I think it is one of the scariest horror movies I mean it doesnt make you jump or anything, but unlike most horror movies it actually could happen. Everything in that movie is scientifically possible. And also it would be so hard to survive that. With vampires, werewolves and zombies or whatever you can see them coming, you can just kill them, but you can't kill every plant. Plants make the oxygen, but they also make the toxin. To breathe or not to breathe? Homocidal plants. scary. What'd u think about the movie?

I am like you. I get excited about a movie or a TV show and if it isn't how i expect it to be then i don't think it is good even if it is. I try not to get excited or try to think about movies to much because then i am always disappointed when i actually watch it,

I know what you mean about it being dissappointing when it doesnt match your expectations. I know everyone thought it was going to be scary, but I didnt really expect that since his other movies weren't really scary. I did like the movie, but maybe that's because I didnt really know what to expect.

I have never seen the movie myself. I do want to see it however. I think my sister in law has it. I should call and ask her tomorrow about it.

Yeah M. Night Shyamalan has a very different style of movie and people either love his work or hate it. Mostly hate it. lol.

I actually liked this movie also. It kinda reminded me of a Twilight Zone episode made into a movie..Yeah, something like that could possibly happen.I have always been a fan of M. Night Shyamalan movies, he has a way to draw people in then *boom* something disturbing and crazy happeneds when you least expect it...lol..To me, his movies are more of psychological suspense thrillers with spooky elements then a actual horror... Good stuff! :)

I love M. Night Shyamalan movies too. I agree that they aren't really horror movies and I think that people expecting them to be horror just get disappointed because of that. Thanks for responding. :)

I loved that movie too! I love most of what M. Night Shyalaman puts out. The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the ending. It kind of left me hanging. I didn't think it was the scariest movie I had ever seen, but, it definitely was very well done.

I saw this movie on dvd and I'm glad i did not go to the theater to see this film. It was ok to watch at home, but not on the big screen. It had some funny parts, but I find comedy in every movie that I watch because I'm silly like that. I thought this movie was wierd. A bunch of people being hypnotized by the wind? Really dumb in my opinion. I mean how the hell do you run and hide from the wind? Over all I don't think this was a good movie. I likt the part when the construction workers were falling out of the sky. That was hilarious. But other than that I would say this movie sucked!

lol. I always find comedy in every kind of movie too. I'm sorry that you didnt like it though. I loved it. But the people werent hypnotized by the wind, they were poisoned by the plants. I think that this movie really makes a good point about how we are treating this planet and sooner or later we gotta reap what we sow.

I have not seen The Happening yet. I do want to see it though. Maybe the next time I rent a movie I will get that one. The las movie I rented was Prom Night and it was awful boring not much to the movie and very predictable. I will have to get The Happening though maybe this weekend.

Yeah, you should definitely see it. A lot of people hate it, but I and some others like it a lot. I agree with you about prom night though, lame. The Happening is much more original.

I did enjoy this movie very much. It is scary that it could happen. I am a very paranoid person also so now i am scared this is going to happen! It is even scarier because it was happening in Philadelphia in the movie and i am in new jersey and am often in Philly. I rather see movies like this then movies where some killer chases people around for an hour before anything interesting even happens. I talked to some people though and some of them don't like it and others did. My brother liked it mainly because people started killing their self from the start and now like 20 minutes into the movie. It got to the point of the movie kind of quick. I recommend this movie to anyone who is into "horror" movies.

For some reason I didn't like it that much.I guess I expected it to be more scary. My friends were talking about it a lot so I rented it.After watching I was a little disappointed, but this movie certainly has a new approach to the word 'horror',as you said there is a possibility of plants emitting harmful toxins into the atmosphere.

That seems to be the downfall of this movie-peoples' expectations. Everyone expected it to be scary. Everyone saw that it was a horror movie and so they had a preconceived idea of how it was supposed to be. Maybe this movie would have done better if it wasnt for that.

Yes it is a scientific yet scariest movie.no devils,no horrible sounds,no disguisting scenes yet make you scary. It is syamalan branded movie.there are certain things that we couldn't estimate.people think that we are creating alternative for god creation.some films we can just watch and enjoy.but there are some films we have to think about.
It is a scary movie with scientific approach.
Must be watch.

Yes the science in this movie is one of the top reasons why I enjoyed it so much. Whenever I see a movie I can't help but find everything scientifically wrong in the movie. This movie definitely made me think though.
