Why can't I compose instantly ?

Writing...this is a gift ? When developed you become a good writer..but I believe each one of us is given a gift to write it's just that we don't practice it. My friends, they write, they easily can compose anything when asked to do so at an instant. How can I not ? I have to be motivated. I need to be inspired to write,..You?

I think writers have a love of language and a gift for being creative, using the written word. Good writing requires a mixture of skill and creative talent. It is possible to learn how to write well and to develop good writing skills. Writing can certainly be improved with continuous practice.
Reading a wide variety of other people's work is a good way to improve your own writing skills. It helps to have an understanding of the different writing styles required for different purposes.

Yes, this is true. I have personally always had a love of language. And I have always been blessed to be able to be creative with it. But it is also possible to be able to learn how to do this. Even the best writers need practice. All of these things are key. :)

It is hard for me to compose an article so easily. Just like you I have to be motivated also. I need to have a familiarity with what I will be writing about. When writing an article, I do so many observation. I ask people, search the internet, and read some books.You are right when you said that we just have to practice our writing because I believe it is a skill that needs full attention. I think, making a journal or diary is a good way for a person to develop his skill in writing. Through that we are hone in our imaginary skills and aside from that it also develops our creativity.
