Date: 11/7/2008
Amount: $5.00 USD
Reference No: [removed for security purposes]
------------------------------------------------
In the hopes of resolving this matter as soon as possible we ask that you contact [removed for security purposes] within 5 business days. Please forward your response to: resolution@alertpay.com so we may ensure both parties have been satisfied. You may reach us by phone, at (514)748 5774 or by email: resolution@alertpay.com .
If we do not hear from you by the above date mentioned we may be forced to side with [removed for security purposes] as you may be considered to be non co-operative.
Important note: If the merchant fails to respond within five business days, it is the customer’s responsibility to reply to this ticket stating the merchant’s negligence. If the customer fails to respond to this ticket within ten business days it will signify the issue has been resolved and the ticket will automatically be closed.
This is a copy of the e-mail I got from AlertPay. I'm happy they are helping me with this. To everybody who got scammed by this site or by other sites, I suggest that you send a transaction dispute through AlertPay but make sure that you have contacted the admin of the site and send them a screen shot of your forum post proving that you already contacted them. Hope this will help everyone.

This is such a good idea. Maybe if more people filed a dispute then the scammers would not be able to run away with peoples money. I hate it that it seems anyone can set up a scam on the internet and nobody seems to do anything about it except there are sites like gptboycott and several boards where you can complain. Might be too little too late for some, but good for you for doing this.

Products...is this something to do with referral purchase? Did you file a dispute or someone else did. I have been out of smithbux as their site was down one day after I have signed up so I eventually gave up on this. I hope that the matter will be resolved soon and everyone to recover their money.

I don't understand the discussion, what is this about?? Are you meaning that if I receive a payout from one of the sites that uses alertpay as payment method I have to contact the people of Alertpay by forum and mail saying that I receive a payment? or what is the meaning of this?? please explain to me

Oh you probably haven't seen my discussion regarding Smithbux. Here's the link so you know what I'm talking about: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1794456.aspx
I paid Smithbux some money for renting referrals and I never got a single one. I want to get my money back by opening a ticket through AlertPay called a Transaction Dispute. This way I can get it back I just backed it up with some proof that I've been trying to contact them.

who knows... if enough complaints are lodged against scammers sites such as alertpay and paypal might actually put a warning about scam sites in the future.. good for you for taking action.
