Why do we need friends?

There is an old saying in China says: one depends on his(or her) family members at home, once outside, what one needs most are friends. Nowadays some people make friends on some selfish conditions: money,power,apperance and so on. What's your principle of making friends,dear pal?
PS: I know MyLot tonight by chance. But i immediately fall in love with it. As a new guy here, I want to make new friends eagerly. Will anyone be my friends?

Friendship should not establish in the base of money or power. Such friendships are not real friend ship. We need friends because we want someone share our happiness and sadness. Friends are those who can paid all they have to help us out of difficulties when we are in trouble.

Because you may not like your family and co workers, and theres no way to change them, because their related to you (family). But if you make friends you can choose who you want to be friends with and wat characteristics they have. And its important to have more friends so you can become more social and be more friendly. That will really help you in life.

we need frnds compulsary.I want a frnds help and when i want my frnds.

Friends for money, power? NO way...
You will never have friend from someone who make friend with you just because they want for money and power.
I am not rich one so I don't need to worry if someone make friend with me just want me to pay for them when we hang out but I know some people like that.
I need my friends especially my best friends. They are always there when I am happy or when I down. Thanks to them available for me all the time.
