What would make you add a person on Facebook?

Do you have to know them in person? Or do you want to keep contact with them? Or do you barely know them? Or would you add complete strangers to your Facebook?

I don't go there much, so it doesn't matter much at the moment. I would add a myLot friend, but you knew that. Chortle.

I am a member of Facebook, however, I am not very interested in it. I will add someone who I know, such as friends to my list. But I will accept the friend request to someone who I don't know. I love China

I sometimes add strangers, and sometimes don't. Depends on my mood *laughs*.

I only add people that I know as my Facebook friends. Sometimes I add people who I went to high school with, but didn't talk to that much. I don't add random strangers, the only time I do that is on MySpace and very sparingly there even.

I added everyone who added me. Half of my friends there, I have not met but that is better than here where most of us are strangers to each other.

I'm in college so I mainly just add my college friends. Strangers or people I don't know very well will usually get turned down. I'm also in a Fraternity so I'll add Alumni or people who work at the National Office. I'll occasionally add old friends from high school as well.
