Which do you think came first,the chicken or the egg?

That really is a good question, but I kind of lean towards the chicken was there first and then laid the egg, sat on it and made another chicken. It makes sense if you think of it that way. It would be similar to how animals have offspring, etc. There has to be an originating animal to create the egg or offspring. And in the Bible it does say that God created man and all animals, etc. so I think the chicken definitely came before the egg. Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

yes me too chicken came first...because egg comes from chicken and I hope egg is under hen.....so hen is first according to me.....many had this confused question.

I think that it was the egg. I can't remember when, but I once heard that the first chicken, I mean the animal that we call chicken came out of a egg that came from a chicken like creature which wasn't really a chicken but some other specie of animal.

I say you're right. If I may add, who would help the egg hatch if there was no grown chicken to lay on top of it for warmth. Although some would definitely say that the egg came first. If so, who laid the egg then?
