Argh the airline has lost my luggage ..........

I flew back from a two week holiday in the UK yesterday only to discover one of my two suitcases didn't get to my destination with me. Everyone at the airport didnt seem too bothered and seemed certain that they would arrive today. Not having ever lost any bags before I can't say I feel so confident! Has anyone else ever had an airline lose luggage and did it reappear?

Well I never tried it yet because I don't travel a lot but my husband did. When he travels here in the Philippines one of his luggage got lost by the airlines. He then contacted the airlines and they assured him that they will give it back to him and so far he got it.

Me too. They're so sure how about it. What of the luggage was picked by someone and never think of giving it back.
