How bad is the economic crysis effecting you?

Since its been a pretty big topic lately I thought I'd see how its effecting others elsewhere. So far for me my job has been cutting hours left and right and freight flow has been down which results in fewer truck unloads. I work overnight stock at a large retail store. The dip was really bad in October when they were canceling 2 trucks a week and we only take one per night (7 trucks a week total normally for the mathimatically challenged, lol :P). Fortunately because of the holidays coming up we've seen a small boost in work but we've also seen a boost in staffing with seasonal hires and all the work they forecasted we would get just hasn't happened so we're basically stuck with more people and about the same amount of work. I'm predicting the worst will come just after the holidays when sales really dip down cause everyone typically being broke after christmas. So, yeah, I'm online trying to make a little extra cash because even because the job market in my town is so bad its a hassle even getting a part time job. :( So, anyway. How bad is it where you are?

Very bad. Jobs are being lost left and right. Companies are closing. Everyone is drawing or trying to draw unemployment. I am currently working and that will end in the next month or two. Our hours has already been cut. It really isn't good at all in my little conner of the world.
