Virtual assistant Job

I do know that it isn't a hobby, most hobbies don't compensate, I know it is a job. I don't want anyone to think that was what i was saying. Yes, most virtual assistant jobs have to be done in the normal business hours. Some can be done other times.

Wow. That response came across as so condesceding. I think many people who look into starting a virtual assisant "business" (not "job"),do so because they are looking for work with some type of flexiblity. That doesn't mean they think of it as a hobby.

Do you know anyone who has or is doing it with success.

They pretty much do what a secretary does, but on their own computer at their home. Tasks are either mailed, picked up or by internet or messenger. That is what I am now is a secretary in an insurance office. It is just beginning to be a bit much with my x-husband in the same office, but can't afford to quit, pay is pretty good where I am.
