Have you tried the new kindle?

Have you tried the new kindle and what did you think of it? If you havent tried the new kindle would you be interesting in trying the kindle? Also, do you prefer to read books in paperback or through the use of technology such as the kindle?

Hi, dawn1111. Welcome to myLot. I have not tried the new kindle. As a technology I think it is interesting but it is not for me. I am a pureist when it comes to reading. I like books. I like to hold them, turn the pages, fall asleep with them on my chest, carry them to the pool.

I haven't tried one. I really want to be able to see one before I buy it, so I don't know when if ever I'll be able to get one. I'd definitely be interested in it especially if you can buy audiobooks from their store. I do like that you can increase the text size because that is a huge part of why I almost never read paperbacks.
