Of course I would accept my friend, he would just need some extra tender loving care than he used to have from me. If your child becomes sick like this you do everything possible for your child you don't disown your child so the same goes for your friend

i would try to help them anyway i could. i don't know how long i could go, haven't had that experience, thank heavens.

If I had a close friend who fell sick of the mind then I would of course still be there for the person. It might depend though on how far along and severe the brain issue might be. If the person had enough cognizance to know who I was then I would help them to regain some strength somehow and let them know that I will be there for them. I would not want to abandon anyone if something unforeseen would happen to someone's mind. I would want the same respect from a friend myself especially my husband who I do also consider to be my best friend. The true testimony to friendship is when you are truly in need of someone and they are there. Just to be a good friend. That is all that really matters. If the person were actually insane then they would probably need more sophisticated help and I would never forget them and still stay a friend if at all possible. Take care.

I would do my best to do whatever I could for the friend. I would also remember the person that the friend used to be before the sickness took over. I am sure that thing would be trying at times and I would lose my patience,but with time all things are possible.

i just think that would be the time that he really needs you!!and it would be a blessing for her family when still youre a freidn to her, and dont treat her as if shes bad, it wasnt her fault being like that i think!!
