Zune Software Question

Hi, to cut a long and annoying story short.
Can you Delete stuff from the 'collection' but so it is NOT deleted from your actual zune?

I don't think you can do that if your connection is the primary connection for the software. If you are the guest i think that you can. But I am not really sure.
