Is abortion actually gods plan at work?

I have been wondering this for quite a while. Everyone says that god has a plan for each person what if that plan for some is abortion. Without there being such a high abortion rate nobody would care to stop it. What if some of the peoples books of life simply ends in the womb?

I do not think that abortion is a part of GOd's plan since the Bible speaks against it. If God's plan was for the life to end in the womb then he would have the woman have a miscarriage or something along those lines. Abortion is a part of free will, while God has a plan for our lives, we also make the desicions to follow his plan or not.

With all the abortions that take place I'm starting to think that either god is trying to get more attention to it so maybe we will try and stop or he may not even care about it.

The bible was written by man, not God, so just because the Bible states something, does not mean that is God's plan.

That's a good point, Its very possible God may be OK with it and whoever wrote that part of the bible might of had there own moral dilemma with it so they decided that god said it.

Mother Theresa was a wonderful lady and she helped many poor people. William Shakespeare was a brilliant author and his books are still very much enjoyed today. Even though those two people are no longer alive they made the world caring and literate. An aborted baby might have grown up talented, valued and loved but they were not given the chance. Perhaps they would have become someone special and in the eye of the media. It is not like a porcelain factory where the mistakes are thrown out. People have feelings and it is sad that a mother to be can arrange to have her unborn baby killed. That is abortion and I don't think any Christian would say abortion is God's will.

Fred West was a serial killer. Adolf Hitler was an evil dictator. Even though those two people are no longer alive they took the lives of many people and ruined the lives of many more. An aborted baby might have grown up to be evil, murderous, and despised by all but they were not given the chance. See where I'm going with this? Your "argument" is ludicrous on so many levels.

Indeed, but it doesn't mean every opinion is equally valid. It's not your right to an opinion I am responding to, it's the opinion itself.
Do you also view contraception in the same way?

What about miscarriages? If one believed in God, which I don't, one would surely have to believe that miscarriages are God's abortions.

Wow never thought about that. I wonder if anybody has a good answer for that? I mean really why would he kill kids while in the womb?

It's sad to know that there are a lot of abortionist in the world. The only good thing I can see about that is it doesn't add anymore to the population. The rest of the effects of abortion are bad. I myself thought about doing that before because I think I'm not ready yet to be a mom. But when I tried to put myself in my baby's shoes I don't want to be aborted. So I continued carrying the baby in my womb until I gave birth last Oct. 02, 2008. Now that I'm already a mom, I can say that abortion not only ends a fetus's life but it also ends all the possibility for a good future. Who knows what kind of life awaits your baby? He or she could be the next president or popular person of good will. Another bad effect or abortion is that it puts the mom's health in danger especially in abortion was done in a third world country where most women opt to ask for fake doctors help. In some progressive countries, some effects to women health are the same. There are even cases when a woman who had an abortion before can no longer carry a baby or not allowed to have one because of some health problems brought by the previous abortion. So stop abortion and go for procreation.

I congratulate you on your courage to go with God and go with life. Congratulations on your child. All good wishes for you and your new family.
I can't agree with the comment you made at the top, though, that the only good thing is that it doesn't add to the population.
What's worse is that it makes murderers of all these women who at some point will wake up and realize what they have done, the horror they have been talked into, the horrific realization that they have broken God's commandment not to murder, that they participated in causing the child pain while it was being killed. (Go see The Silent Scream on YouTube to see how abortion causes horrible pain and fear to the fetus as it is being killed.)
I feel it is just awful that Planned Parenthood lies to young women and doesn't tell them that one day, their old religious training may kick in as they realize they went against God's will.
God gave you a challenge and a gift and you say no to God? You don't say no to God. That is just wrong.
