Are you afraid of dark?

We all try to hide that feeling... But still it persists! If you go out at night then you feel some footsteps following you! it is just your hallucination and imagination that prevails at that time though! Even when at home if you are left alone do you get this creepy feeling of somebody being around you? Are you afraid of the dark or have you had any such experience which sends a chill down you spine when you think about it? All responses are welcome... Thanks in advance!

There was this one night when I was taking meds for something(cant remember what for). I went for a walk at night. It was around one or two in the morning but I could not sleep. I was walking back towards my house and I guess the meds were making me hallucinate because I thought i saw a large animal shaped out like a lion or something heading towards me. I screamed so loud that it ran away from me. I am pretty sure I was hallucinating though.

Whoo... Creepy thing! i can imagine how you must have felt like.... It can be your hallucination or it might be any cat or other stray animal roaming around though! Thanks for the response.. Happy mylotting!

I am afraid of dark when I am alone. This happens since childhood, because of the side effect of watching the horror movie at young age. So, if I am alone in the house, I will leave a lamp on at night. I never sleep in complete darkness when I am the only person in the house. But if I have my family members around in the house, then I do not afraid to sleep in the dark.

I am still afraid of the dark. . I always feel something is going to be here somewhere. I don't fear it anywhere as much as I used to, though. . It gives me a little chill, a little one.

i dare say i dont cause whenever i am alone in complete darkness in a strange place some thing creepy tends to happen and i will be wide awake .... in my friend circle they dont take me to be afraid of darkness cause once i had moved my sleeping friend to a graveyard and ran away fm their to see his reaction and later on took the challenge to go in the mid of the gaveyard at midnight and stay their till dawn and accomplished
