http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,453927,00.html For an aunt to do this is just terrible. I am wondering where her mother and father are, and when she went to school, didn't her teachers notice the abuse?

That is absolutely disgusting. How can anyone do that to anyone? especially a family member. That woman deserves worse that what the court will give her and hopefully when she goes to jail they do not put her in protective custody.

Well no doubt it makes no sense to me, and I could never imagine doing the cruel things she did.

I am not sure what she got out of this, but hopefully what she deserves.

It's terrible. And I'm asking myself the same questions as you, Yestheypayme2dothis. You might think that at least the teachers might notice and would do something about it. I think it's part of their job to help their students.

Maybe teachers need to be tested each year with questions like--You see a student with a black eye, what do you do?

Oh yes absolutely. There should be one in place, for which teachers must take the test every several years or something. Just to make sure that whichever student is being abused at home are still taken care of and such.

That is horrible that her aunt treated her like that. I wonder were her parents were as well. Wouldn't we think that her aunt took her in to give a nutering home, not an abusive one? It is horrible and that girldeserves better. May she be ok, and be treated good. And may her aunt get the punishment that she deserves.
