are you adopted?

im adopted. im 34 years old and ive known since i was probably 8 years old. i met my birth mother several years ago and finally got to ask her all the unanswered questions thati had. it was nothing like the reunions they show on tv though. i never cried or anything. i thinki was more in shock i guess. she explained to me why and that actually gave me some peace. ive never been upset about it. i actually thank her for it. i dont know if i could ever do that, but i think it took alot of love and guts for her and i actually can say that im glad she did. you hear how kids try to blame their problems on the fact that they are adopted. i think they need to reallt sit back and consider what the alternative could have been. i was just wondering how many of you out there are adopted and whats your story.
