Welcome to myLot!!
I believe many books of the bible were letters that were written by 'men of God'. I feel that there stories they wrote about came about by the telling of religious experiences that they had. Did God have an influence on these writings?? Well if these people had God in their lives then YES they were influenced by God as He influences peoples lives even now. So now all one has to think about is whether influence is inspiration? Anyone who writes for a living or even writes for pleasure knows that they use everyday influences to inspire their wrting. Therefore I really believe that there is no other way to look at the bible except that YES it was 'inspired by God!'

Yes I have heard of the 'lost books of the bible'. I believe Emperor Constantine had a lot to do with the putting together of our modern day bible. He brought together a group to decide which books should go together and which rules the Christians should follow. As far as I am concerned he therefore was the one who decided which books were inspired.

One question about that though I have heard of So called lost books of the bible. Have you heard of them? Anyways they were taken out because they were believed to not be inspired by god. So my question is If a person is able to write a book saying they are inspired by God how is man to judge it?

i think the holy book is written by the man inspired by the satan, cause there are so many places where god was having negative qualities to be a god,i am not to hurt anyone but only my view to bible

Although I don't believe in the concept of Satan either, this is probably the closest to the truth. The book, though it has good moments, is packed full of the most awful and inhuman deeds committed by or in the name of the "all loving" deity who allegedly authorized and inspired its creation.

I do have a question for those who believe it is the writings of the creator of the universe:
If it was written by dozens of men, all of whom were under no divine command whatsoever and were simply fabricating the claims which were contaied therein, would the Bible be any different?

So your point is that 3000 years ago people were more inclined to believe than they are now? I'd have to agree with you, that is certainly the case in many regions at least. The scientific knowledge of a well-educated adult back then would embarrass a schoolchild today. It is now more acceptable in many places to be openly atheist, too, something which has not been the case for a very long time.
As the official documentation of the supreme creator of the universe, the Bible is pretty awful to say the least.

I do not think that there is an answer to that question. I know that man physically wrote the book. I think that people will all have different opinions on this one. For me it was written by man and man makes mistakes. So although it might have been inspired by God man still wrote it.

We just have to believe God insprired men to write it. I believe in the bible and I know no that only God could of known the things that are writen in it. No one could be that intelligent. He certainly inspired quite a few of them. The only proof is in the Bible because it is written there. I hope you understand this as I am not good at explaining things well. Take care.

Thank you for the quick response :). However I have gone through the bible and its hard for me to say that there is truly anything in it. Everything seems rather vague to me. No granted some things are pretty well stated but for the most part your left on your own to figure out what it means to you. That leaves a lot of room for misinterpretation. Kinda like when you go to Church when the Pastor preaches are his sermons exactly what a bible is truly saying or simply how he read it?
