I may be offline for a couple of weeks, hold down the fort

TDS has screwed up again, I may not be able to get online again till I get comcast out here. I am tired of dealing with TDS and their crap. SO this may be the last time that I am able to get online again until Dec 1 or so. There is another woman in this town with the same name that I have and for some reason TDS can't seem to keep the two of us straight.
They have shut off my services before becasue of changes she made to her account, when I had a technical issue they gave me HER email address and password. You would think that they could keep us straight based on the phone # but NOOOOO. I have had to call repetedly to get billing issues straightened out because they can't seem to keep the 2 of us apart. I have had MORE than enough of TDS!!!
So if I can't get back online rest assured that I will be back as soon as I can be. I will try to come back on when I can and say hi to everyone but if I can't I will be back as soon as I can be.
Ever have problems with a company like this? Or is this just another things in a long list of the differnt things that I have had to deal with in my life. I must bethe unluckiest person in the world.

Sorry you are having so many problems with getting online, Erilyn. That's how I feel about AT & T when it keeps going offline with our DSL. I just had to redo a discussion on mylot because of them shutting down about the time I hit submit!
It looks like your company could at least keep you two separated considering you have different phone numbers and you don't live in the same vicinity. Sounds like they have major problems in their clerical and technical areas. If thy do too many like they've done you, they may find themselves out of business. Hope you are able to get back on very soon.

I was able to borrow a neighbors pc for a few mins to stop in :). I don't know what their problem is. You would think a phone company would be able to kep everyone straight.I don't know what their problem is and personally I don't care it just sucks they are the only phone company in my area.

They have had my bill jacked up since I first signed up for service because of this other woman. I would hate to see what she had to go through when they decided to give me her passwords and everything. For somereason they just can't tell us apart, maybe one day they will get it right.

Hope they can get this all worked out. By the way, we only have one phone company in our area, too. But we've never had any problems with our bills. One thing I do have is, through my email - I get another woman's emails, at times. She has my first name. I don't use my full first name in my email, but she does. And she has my middle initial which I do use in mine. So I suppose the email server sometimes gets us confused. I've even got messages for confirmations for different things that she should have gotten. I wonder how many problems she's had for not receiving her emails.

Certainly sounds like terrible luck, living in the same town as someone with your same name Lucky for me I have a rather unusual last name, so am not likely to have your problem. But, I do hope you get things straightened out soon

Yeah me too. I don't know what their problem is. Until I got TDS service I would not have known that there was another woman in town with the same name I had. I did not think that my name was that common. I will prolly keep services until tonight, after that they my shut it off. I just don't know what to do with these people anymore. I am so DONE with TDS.
