The Biggest Shopping Day of the Year!

I can't wait to shop for Christmas! Anyone going to hit the stores Thanksgiving weekend? Which stores are opening at the crack of dawn? I think this season is going to be a bit harder on shoppers and retailers. But never-the-less it's almost here and I'm so excited! Which stores would be the best to hit first? Let me know what you think! Tis the season!

I will NOT be shopping that weekend...I am a people person, but don't do well with crowds =( The outlet mall near where I live is opening at midnight on Thanksgiving night, which is really considered the day after Thanksgiving, so these stores are opening WAY before dawn =) Happy Shopping!

Nope, I won't be shopping that weekend either, at least I don't plan to be doing much shopping then. I've found that Black Friday is more of a hype than a great bargain day recently. Many of the great buys last all day long and there's little need to wake up at 3am, to go stand outside in the cold weather hoping to be one of the first to get that great deal.
I think with the economy being so bad, that spending will be tight and some very good deals will be had later in the shopping season, probably about the last 2 weeks before Christmas.
I just found out that WalMart will be open on Thanksgiving Day for the first time.... at least the WalMart near will be open. I wonder if they'll have any special sales running that morning? I'm not cooking this year...lol!
