I Am So Frustrated

I STILL have not had a single sale. My shop has been open since April. I spend time promoting. I don't think my prices are unreasonable. People say that my stuff is nice. Yet nothing. It can't be the economy, some people who just opened are begging for their 50th sale.
If I don't get a sale soon, I may have to close. I need to spend my time actually making money. I have bills to pay and I need money NOW.

I looked at your shop and I don't mean to be unkind, but I can understand why you haven't had any sales. For one thing, your inventory is too small. But the main thing is that there's nothing original or particularly interesting about any of your work. It may be nicely made; I can't tell anything about that from the phoots (and incidently the photos aren't very good), but they're the kind of items you would see at neighborhood craft bazaars. I see a lot of work like that on Etsy, but I have my doubts about how much it actually sells. The emphasis on Etsy is on unusual, one of a kind, highly crafted work. If you have the talent to move in that direction, you might start selling some of your work.
If that's not what you wanted to hear, I apologize, but people will always tell you how nice your work is, even if they don't think much of it. Politeness avoids hurt feelings, but it doesn't offer you any way to make necessary changes.

I will have to add to this. Your products are nice, but if you were a little more creative than people would like that more. Something like that is easy to make and if they know that then they can do it themselves or family members for them. I also think that you don't have a lot of items listed, but before considering that you should consider my first comment. When people go to etsy to order things they want vintage, rare items, things that are hard to make or get. They want something that is unique and stands out. Another thing you can do is list things that are not listed as much.

Where is your shop? I can look at it if its online, but I can not guarantee to buy something unless I know what you sell. Send me a friend request and I will approve you then you can message me about your shop.
