When was the last time you talked to God about something very serious?

I talk to God everyday. I always talk to Him about guidance and enlightenment. But a few days ago I cried when I talked to Him about my son. My seventeen year old son wants to go into the Police Academy where my younger brother and several cousins graduated. I heard a lot of the hazing stories inside academies and how people there are treated. Some even escape the camp because they cannot bear the pains inflicted in them. I have talked to my son and he insist on going to the academy. He has taken the exam and is waiting for the result. I cannot do anything to stop my son so I just asked God to guide him and help him achieve his dreams in life. Have you had something similar to my experience? Do you have a problem that you talk to God about? Share us and you will feel better.

I always talked to God everyday by praying to him. But like what you said talking to Him seriously, I have talked to Him a few years ago when my brother got sicked and I am worried because the doctor can't diagnosed what his sickness was. The doctor let him go out to the hospital because he said my brother is not sick but how come his not sick when he is thinner and experiencing seizure? We're afraid he might leave us but for a couple of days that he is out at the hospital, I guess the doctor was right. The hospital would only make my brother sick and now he is back to normal. I thank God beause I know He answered all our prayers.

i talked to God everyday. Every morning i wake up i thank Him for giving me another day to live. For all the blessings that He has given me and my family. I talked to God very seriously when my mother was hospitalized due to stroke. I asked Him to give me and my family strength to surpassed all the trials that we are experiencing that time. To let my mother lived for a couple of years but if its His will to take my mother. I lift it up to him. I know that God really hears my prayers. After 3 days my mother went back to normal. And we got out of the hospital. And with God nothing is really impossible as long as you honor Him and accept Him as our personal savior.
