hi there youless,
For me, the piano and violin is the most soothing musical instrument. Whenever I hear a piano or a violin played it really relaxes me and I guess it really is good to hear these instruments in classical musics.

I always love piano, and I really enjoy the piano music. Whenever I see someone playing piano, or listen to any piano music, I feel really touched. I do listen to some other musical instruments, they are nice too, but they don't give me the feeling as piano music does.

I love all musical instruments. Do you like funny movies? Do you like Opera? If so, rent A Night at the Opera. It stars The Marx Brothers. They were three crazy comedians. In the middle of this funny movie, Harpo Marx has a wonderful harp solo.It is my favorite part of the film.In the attached poster,Harpo is the one in the hat.

I personally prefer the saxophone.
Love the low, melodic sounds it makes. And if you can get a good CD full of nice saxophone tunes, all you need is a nice air-conditioned room and a good cuppa.
Relax by lying down on your favorite couch, flip the CD into the player and let the music drain away all those horrible day stress you have as the music fills the room.
Very very good for relaxing after a long day at the office.

Oh, my love for Saxophone goes way before Kenny G was popular.
And most of Kenny G's tunes are played on the clarinet. Very few are by Saxophone.
But the tunes are all good.
I love them and have quite a few of them in my collection as well.
Which one is your favorite among his collection of tunes?
He hasn't release any new albums for a long time. Is Kenny G retired?

Not many people play the harp nowadays do they my friend? Well apart from angels of course! It has a lovely melodic tune to it I agree, but for me my favourite musical instrument is the flute! I love the enchanting music that a flute plays, I think James Galway was a famous flute player, but I can't think of any others, I am not musically gifted but if I could play an instrument professionally I would choose a flute and besides a flute isn't heavy to carry around LOL!

I love the sound of the violin... and i think it has the most haunting and soothing sound... i had Korean students in the past who played the violin really well... and i hope they become famous someday...
I also want my daughter to learn how to play this instrument... but they said it can be very gruelling at times... and one needs to learn at a very early age to be very good at it... i just hope my daughter is interested in learning how to play the violin...

I think the harp has a wonderful sound and it's really magical. Too bad that it's not something easy to be learnt, otherwise I would consider learning it *laughs*.

I use to play bamboo flute. But I could no longer find time to do so. But I like its sound. And the manner it is being played.

I've always loved piano music, classical or modern! I also like the harp, too bad it doesn't seem to be commonly heard. There was a Japanese harp player who settled here in my country, Tadao Hayashi, and he played heavenly music with the harp. I have a CD collection of the pieces that he played. I love it.
