the last thing you do before leaving the house

i guess besides making sure all the doors are closed,the last thing i do before leaving the house is check myself in front of the mirror.i don't
go out and feel like something's wrong with me and have people staring at me because of that.lol. how about you??

Before leaving the house I really see to it that all the electrical appliances are unplugged. Safety first before anything else. Then check if the back door is already lock. Then after locking the main door I'll say a little prayer for safety.

I will check all the lights, fans or any other electrical appliances are all switched off before I leave the house. I am aware that this will save the electricity a lot. Otherwise, we are wasting our energy for nothing. If I am leaving for long vacation, I will ensure the doors and windows are locked properly. But sometimes, especially cloudy days, I will leave a lamp on, so that the house won't look so gloomy.

Exactly, but if talking about preventing our house from being burnt, we need to do one more thing. If we are using the gas stove, we need to remember to switch off the gas tank. But I am always forgetful, and after reading about one of the mylot discussion, I have more awareness and switch off the gas tank switch often.

I make sure all the doors are closed to the rooms so the dogs can't get into them, then I give the dogs a treat and head out...

lock my door ,if the door didn't closed ,there maybe some thief coming ,and then they will take some of my effects .

I usually go around the house make sure the cats arent in...the dog is out, the lights are all off (and burners on the stove n coffee pot are off) then pull the door shut. As i go down the steps on the deck i check for food and water for the pets (if theres none i go back in and get them more) Unplug my car and leave.
