I have been here a week now, and to start off with, it seemed to be quite a good place.
But now there seems to be silly things, so I totally agree with you.
the best one I saw was the one about discussing muslims, but we dont want to get into "bashing" muslims all the time.

I think that myLot has done a good job at reducing the lame topics and discussions but there is still room for improvements. It is much better now than it used to be when I first joined and look forward to all the updates and changes on here. Hopefully this new rating system will also help to encourage people to create good and interesting discussions as well as quality responses.

I agree with you as well as far as there being a lack of real topics on this site. So many topics are silly ones and repeated ones. Everyone is just putting in something to make money and not concerned about more improtant or more interesting topics. I try but sometimes I run out of topics to discuss.

I came up with discussion ideas. But am now finding it pointless. What is the point when most people only want quick Q&A?

Great question. I like to think I've asked a couple of things that might start an ok discussion. But I do not get many replies. As a long distance truck driver would it help if I got online everyday for mylot to be viewed more often?

The problem is no one wants to answer to the good topics, people just want to make money and jump from one easy discussion to another without wasting time reading and replying with something good, I think mylot should take tougher stance and delete all these nonsense discussions, I search around and find it hard sometimes to find something good to reply to, they are never at the top discussions or hot discussions, most good discussions I find are on my friends list as I try only adding/accepting people who post good discussions.

There are many dscussion on myLot other than these silly topics. But to post responses members of mylot has to type a bit longer than one word or one sentence.Actually mtlot requires descriptive answers.I think people posting discussion like coke or pepsi, what is your sign, tell you birth day ect.want to increase the response numbers very quickly. When you search you will find a number of discussions not responded.I request you to try some of these. Thank you

Exactly, Brokentia.
I actually started some really lame ones a while ago because I was CONVINCED I'd get more responces, but it looks like everyone's more interested in short answers or something like that one that the member Rehanaanwer started-did you see it?
It's titled "Pakistani or indian girl who is more beautifull" (and yes, that exactly the way she spelled it).
The posts on that one are, "Do you have a boyfriend?" and "What's your cup size??"

I am in total agreement with you; but, if there were more "quality" topics do you think people would take the time to respond to them? ~Donna
