Yes I am. I was in the nursing profession before I enrolled into teaching. i also gave my free time to help children who live into institutions because they have been abandoned by their parents. © ronaldinu 2008

i think serving other gives you a enter satisfaction i love helping others i did thanks giving taking people a hot meal i really enjoyed doing this.

We're really focusing on giving this year for Christmas at our house. We're buying a few things for people who are less fortunate, but unfortunately we won't be able to buy much more than what we've already bought since we are now facing an unexpected huge (at least $500, maybe more) vet bill. Now we will be concentrating on things that we can make. My almost three year old has started making some Christmas cards. If he wants to, I'm going to encourage him to make a big batch for my mom to give to the residents of the nursing home where she works. My son and I are also going to make dozens of homemade cookies and other treats. My husband is in the military, and there's a cookie drive every year for the airmen who live in the dorms and won't be going home for Christmas. We will be making cookies and candy for them, and also for the guys my husband works with are single and will be staying up here, but don't live in the dorms.

I tried to donate generously and donate to charity organizations in my country and done some social work . I will try to contribute and donate for the good cause all through my life.

Why not? Don't say serve. You help to others will definitely get a feedback to you. You will get benefit or mental satisfaction from it.

Well, actually I will be helping do a little bit of this actually on Saturday. Our Church is hosting a Turkey giveaway for families in need, and will be giving away Turkeys and makings for a Turkey dinner to about 100 families or so. It will be an awesome time, and I love being able to help out like this as well. I also usually will donate Toys to the Giving tree, and usually buy all of the kids in our Church under 12 a small gift as well. I used to be in a place where I needed help during the Holidays and even if things are tight here myself, there is no better feeling to be able to give back to the Community as well.

I have served others all my life and intend to continue doing so, only now I cannot do anything physical anymore but I certainly can contribute by my writing and publishing skills here on the internet.

Yes. In fact, I do. This last month for example I just gave up my cookie money (the money I use from food stamps to buy treats and things) to donate it to my neighbors in need during the food drive that the Boy Scouts were putting on. I also spend a lot of time volunteering at various activities. Lastly, I give to Toys for Tots.

In this world we need not be selfish. We need not be so focused on our own self alone and in our own benefits. Doing kind things for others like what you have enumerated will surely warm their hearts. But more than the physical needs, I look far and beyond. Yes I do give material things and many other acts of kindness but I never forget to share Jesus to people whose souls are still lost and have to find salvation. I have ministry for children and ladies one after the other. Yes, I shell out some money for this ministry just to attract them to come and listen to lessons about Jesus and get saved in the process.

yes i am willing to help other.thank you what you are saying is a nice idea.if we help the people in need then it is good work. i have a work which you can do and serve otheres that is inindia there are many people who are poor and they do not have money to educate there child .you can donate the money to them do a good workto serve others

I always have wanted to help the less fortunate. So I found this awesome website called www.freerice.com. What you do on there is just answer these vocabulary, math, or language questions and the more you do the more you give rice to kids that need it the most. I donated more than 100,000 grans of rice and I felt really good to do it :)
