My favourite book is Journey to the West, which is one of the most popular classic books in China,it is a very famous Chinese myth.I have read the book more than 5 times. The Monkey King is my best love,I love him for his clever and great ability. He and his two brothers protected their master to go to the west.Although they came accross lots of demons and ghosts, they reached the west at last.
It is very interesting and worthy of reading.

It is a great book. I also cried when I was reading that, and it is much better than the movie.

the walking drum
It is written by LOUIS L'AMOUR.
It is dated 12th century. The story is about a young man who was forced to search for his father after he was driven away from his home by a baron.
What i liked the most about the book is the yearning to learn and share knowledge.
He gave importance to education, not necessarily obtained from school.
I was also fascinated by the description of old asia and old europe.
I love book because it can effectively bring me to different places and ages.

I love lots of books. Its hard to say if I have one favorite one.
I love the Dragons of Pern series by Anne MacCaffrey books. I love Songmaster by Orson Scott Card. I love the Hominids/Human/Hybrid trilogy by Robert J. Sawyer.
I also love The Cat Who... books by Lilian Jackson Braun, tho the mysteries are not so important as our annuel visit to Pickaxe and Jim "Q" are.
I guess I should look for an English translation of your book, sounds like it might be good - wonder what the monkeys found in their "west" probably not cowboys!

I would have to say that my favorite book would be the one called To Kill A Mockingbird. I have loved that book since I was in elementary school. I have read it more times than I can remember. It is one of the greatest books ever written, in my opinion.

I keep hoping that my favorite book is the next one that I'll read! My favorite right now is Beach Girls by Luanne Rice. It reminds me so much of my own childhood, growing up at the beach. Rice's descriptive paragraphs and insights into family life made me fall in love with the New England coast before I ever set foot there. DH treated me to a three week vacation in coastal New England this year and now that I know where the places are and what they look like, her books are even more meaningful to me.

Elizabeth Forsythe-Hiley's A Woman of Independent Means is definitely my all time favorite. I have read it for the first time when I was in high school, and I have loved it since then. I was inspired on how strong the main character was in enduring the man difficulties in her life time, being an independent woman in the time when women were treated inferior to men and were just mere ornaments to the society. This book is undoubtedly a celebration of the strengths of a woman who chooses to stand strong against the many odds of life.
