Where to get a PS3?

Where did you buy yours? Have you had any problems with the lens? I have noticed people on Ebay selling theirs and most are as is and says the blue ray lens wont work?

Hi Celestos, Didn't realize you lived in Mich. I bought mine at a GameStop. It is one of the original 80gig machines and was $499 when I bought it. Now, all the 80gig machines I see are $399. I have no problem with the lens for the Blue-Ray or DVD formats. To enjoy the Blue-Ray format you have to have a HDTV, and prferably use the HDMI connection. The Pic quality is amazing. I would suggest that if you buy one off of e-bay, use PayPal to pay for the transaction. You get a better guarantee that what you pay for is what you get. And, of course, check the history of the seller. There are some pretty creative low life's out there. Good luck, and if I can help, just ask. also, where is Roseville, Mich. When I was a kid, I lived in the U.P. near Gwinn, Mich for three winters. The cooldest, but beautiful, place I have ever been to. 40 degrees below zero is really nuts. Good luck ron
