I find out it is hard of making money through this site as it is rather like a site of making friend than making money.
Even though been posting many comment, but the pay is consider low if compare with others.
So is there any professional out there know the strategy of making the maximum money through MYLOT?
Please provide your valuable suggestion...............

I spent alot of the other day earning only $0.83 which i agree isnt alot for the amount of posts i made. Though i try to keep them short and snappy now because i'm getting a little bit lazy. I feel i'm not paid enough for my valid answers so- why waste my time writing long ones? I generally answer to the most recent interest posts- and make topics of my own.
Now- i try to spend no longer then 2 minutes on each post.

I agree that one of the slight disadvantages of MyLot is that there is no 'set' fee for a post. Payment is based on quality and worked out through a complex algorithm that they keep secret (in case anyone tries to copy it).
Many people coming here in hopes of making a quick buck seem to be disappointed. I think this may be because the people who refer them mis-represent what MyLot is about.
Most people seem to average between $0.20 and $0.40 a day (without referrals), so your $0.83 sounds like a good day's work.
With practice, I find, it's possible to post a 'quality' answer quite quickly. The secret is to answer only discussions where one has something useful to add and to be able to write clearly and succinctly without too much pause for thought.
Discussions that attract many 'quality' answers, I find, will earn better than ones which only attract few answers or one-liners. It pays to know your audience and to try to make your discussion one that will encourage them to write lots!
It's a waste of time posting discussions (or responding to discussions) that violate the guidelines because they will almost certainly be deleted and you will lose that revenue, so it is wise to read the Guidelines, Terms and FAQs thoroughly! (I have no doubt you have, but I thought it worth pointing out for anyone else who happens to read this.)
Posting appropriate and relevant photographs is also a good way of increasing earnings. Please read the photo guidelines before you do, though.

Mylot only pays you for constructive and valid responses. This means that the response should be helpful and not just yes, no, or I don't know. It must contribute something to the discussion and must be on topic.
When I first joined mylot and started posting, I also wondering how to make more money on mylot. I have three suggestions for you.
1. Make sure your responses are actually helpful and contribute to the discussion. Senior (members with more than 500 posts) mylot members have also recommended to make sure that your response is at least four or five lines long. I did not believe them then, but took their advice into consideration and I have made much more money this month.
2. Make a lot of friends. I have found out and have been informed that having many friends has many benefits. The main one being they will see when you have started a new discussion and sometimes they will respond to it.
3. Have many interests as possible. The more interests you add and have, the more discussions you will be able to respond to. This will mean more posts and more earnings for you.
Good luck and I hope this helped. Happy mylotting!

A good answer, snam23. I'd also say that adding relevant images (if you are able to) can significantly increase your earnings. I have to admit that it's time consuming and you have to have the images on your PC (they also should be your own images and relevant to the subject ... it's all in the Photo Guidelines!).
Also, one shouldn't forget referrals. Provided you can attract referrals who are as keen to post on MyLot and have the same understanding of it as we do, four referrals can double your earnings overnight (or more, even!)

Thank you for adding those. I realized I had forgotten those after I posted and all the things you mentioned in your post as well. :)
The thing about referrals is, I have three inactive ones and none of them seem to want to be active here. My strategy for getting referrals is going to be reach payout, get paid, and then show my payment proof to everyone I can. I will post it on my blog and visit many forums about earning money online and post it in the appropriate places.

I don't think in terms of strategy. MyLot is primarily a discussion forum, where you can exchange information, advice and opinions with people from all over the world. In other words, it's an entertainment and education site. The fact that we actually get paid for doing this (when most discussion forums don't pay at all) is a pleasant bonus. Personally, I earn the most when I'm just going with the flow, and not thinking about earning.

You will not make a lot of money on myLot. The money is incidental to doing the posting. If you want to make a lot of money go elsewhere. It takes hundreds of posts to make a few dollars, but for some this is an enjoyable addition to their net worth for doing something they enjoy, for others it is a low paying core that they quickly abandon.
Apparently you should be making longer relevant posts that are at least 4 lines long. I do not know if this is accurate but it is what I have heard.

I think you are right. A lot of people just come here to make friends and for good conversation. Although you do get paid for your actions here.
I can give you a couple of tips for making money on myLot. First of all, the longer the response you leave in a discussion, the better you will get paid for it. That is, to an extent.
And also, by starting active discussions like the one you have started here. The more people that respond to your discussions, I think the more you will get paid. So if you start a discussion, and no one responds, you won't really make anything. But if a lot of people respond to it, you will do well.
Good luck to you in your online money adventures. Have a nice day!

yeah,if you come here just to earn money ,i think ,you will be disappointed ,it is really very low paid .So ,why not enjoying yourself here ,making friends ,talking about the things you are interested in ,then when you do not care about the money ,maybe you will find that you have got a lot in your account .LOL

I am taking the earnings as an incentive for my participant in discussions. I have earned $2.5 so far and working on target to hit $10 in a month or so...I really enjoyed posting here as it is an International site. The discussions are broad and I can share with other members my views and experiences. Just make sure you have identify a lot of interest and I'm sure the earnings will increase.

I have to agree with the previous posters in that this is just a place to make "extra cash" not make a living. My motto is that every little bit helps. Right now that is what I need. So, I am going to see if I can make it to pay out, and then prove to others that they do pay!! This is exciting. Even though it is only a penny a post, if I do just a little bit more than the day before then it could work out.
One thing I noticed is that even if it isn't your discussion you should add comments to everyone's post within a discussion. Asking them to explain something within their post will rack up your earnings. I did this yesterday and earned more yesterday then I did the last few days combined.
Good Luck to you!

Well i was addicted to yahoo answers for a while so might as well make a few pennies doing the same thing i was doing before for free . . . the only thing i dont like about this site is there's no seperation form the teenagers and the real questions. But its still cool to get paid anything for simply posting an opinion or random thought.
I dont invest too much time at this site but have already made about 50 cents, which, with my other addiction to ebay every little bit helps, hopefully i can get some of my shipping charges covered by writing on here, more than i was getting thru yahoo answers :)

If you want a lot of money, don't stay at mylot.
If you here for the community, stay and earn a little while you are having fun

I really don't believe in "strategies" really in making money through MyLot. I personally think it's not even a good idea to kinda game the earnings system or exploit a method in gaining the highest amount in smallest time period.
Basically for me, knowing the guidelines and the Do's and Don'ts is the best way to get the full experience of MyLot. The earnings are really a reward for the efforts you did.
And let's not forget about the referrals. Get your friends into it and that's when income starts to dramatically increase.
