If I absolutely would have to, I could and would know how, but I would be totally upset to lose indoor plumbing. That is one convenience that people should appreciate. Imagine to have to venture out in the cold of the winter to the outhouse to do your business or in the summer, when it stinks badly and the flies and other insects are in there, too. And somebody has to clean it out every so often, yuck!
And having water in the house instead of having to haul it in is really nice, too. The rest is a bit easier to go without, a bit more boring entertainmentwise, but we would need more time anyway to accomplish all the chores.

I feel like I would get along just fine, it would probally be trying at times but all in all I know I would save alot more money than what I do now. I already enjoy some self sufficient things, like chickens for food and we have fruit trees and plan on putting in a garden this spring. I also conserve electricity by not turning on the lights and useing candles and I love cooking on a grill and sitting aroung the fire.

Since we are accustomed to the modern conveniences it would be hard but not impossible to live without them. Some people would really be down in the dumps once having these and then loosing them. Let us hope we never have to find out.
