Creepy sound... Have you sometimes felt creepy after a thunderstorm, while walking along the beach, or while trekking a windy mountain range? Your chills may not be because of ghosts or other horrifying creatures. They may be caused by infrasound. Humans cannot hear infrasound, an extreme bass sound lower than 20 hertz, but they can keenly sense it. Researchers in colorado, usa, have determined that infrasound has negative effects on humans. In one concert, scientists projected the inaudible sound through a seven meter pipe to 750 unwitting people. The audience soon reported feeling unusual sensations-sorrow, uneasiness, chills down the spine, fear, or anxiety.
