For the past few months I have been talking about getting my nose pierced. For the past few weeks a friend has been talking about getting an industrial bar (the bar that goes through the top then the side of your ear) yesterday she called me and asked me if I still wanted my nose done. I asked her to price it for me. Well she found us a great deal! So last night I did it! It didn't hurt as bad as I thought it would. I think it was worse to get my ears done!
When I got home I called my husband who is in FL (I'm in PA) he wasn't too happy to hear that I had it done, but after he seen the picture he got over it.
So do you have any thing pierced? If you don't do you want some thing done? What would you do if your husband or wife came home with a piercing?

I had my touge done for about 2 days LOL! I have a short tounge and the guy didn't want to do it at all but I talked him into it. So they did it and I swelled up so much I couldn't talk or close my mouth! I delt with it for 2 days, the swelling still hadn't gone down and I was HUNGERY!!! LOL
My husband had his done when we met. He only kept it for a year or so just wasn't his thing.

LOL I won't I promise!!! The little one in my nose now is the biggest I'll go!! Can't even see it when looking directly at me. Took my boss ALL day to see it! At the end of the day I went to his desk and said "hey see some thing" He laughed and told me I was a nut. Which we all know I am!! LOL

LOL!!! I like it!!! I know between you and my grandmother I'm gonna hear about it, thats why I got it done now ... It should be all healed by the time I get there! Does uncle still have his eye brow done? You didn't like that either but you got used to it! Hey better then getting a tattoo on my face!

I had my belly button pierced and when my daughter turned 16 we got our noses pierced together. When she was a little girl she saw someone with a nose piercing and asked me if she could have one, too. I told her that when she was 16 she could. Then she asked if I would get one too because she would be scared to get it by herself. Well, she always remembered that conversation and it meant so much to her that we went the day she turned 16 and had it done. My step-daughter got one with us too. Her birthday is 5 months after my daughters and she asked if she could get hers done when she turned 16, too. I told her no....that she could get it done with us that day with us, that we weren't going to leave her out and make her get it done by herself....she was very happy about that and the 3 of us had a blast. My husband loved them when we showed him.And if her ever wanted a piercing, it's his body, who am I to say if her can or can't get a piercing? He isn't interested in getting any, he's more into tattoos but if he ever wanted one, I would think it was great! :)
Have fun picking out new nose rings when you can change them and make sure you use the curved one's, the straight one's hurt when you try to put them in and a lot of the time they get stuck and you can't get them out because of the little ball thing on the end. Also, make sure you clean it like you are supposed to and make sure that any time after you've touched it you clean it too. I got a little infection but used neosporine and it was cleared up in a day. So just make sure you are very diligent about keeping the germs out:)

My cousin and I were surposted to get out belly buttons done when I turned 16 but she chickened out and really I didn't have the body for it and still don't. I never even liked nose piercings! I have a few friends with it done and I always jokingly made fun of them - now they get to do it to me! LOL

I have 2 holes in each ear - and haven't worn earrings for 20 years. It no longer interests me.
I would be upset if my beloved husband came home with piercings - especially if we did not talk about it first. His body is mine and mine is his - as well as the Temple of the Holy Ghost.

It really didn't hurt that bad! I mean yes it hurt but not for long once she was done putting it in and I stopped bleeding it didn't hurt. It's tender now but not bad at all. I LOVE it and I am really happy I did it. My husband won't get any peircings. We both have tattoos.

That is cool! I had mine done about ten years ago or more. I loved it but last month I got an infection in my nose and it really hurt and so I have stopped wearing it for a while. I think that they look really nice though. My hubby is into tattoos rather than piercings so it would be a tatt he came home with, he always tells me when he is having it done though so it does not bother me too much.

We had our daughters ears pierced at 3 months. We felt horriable when we had it done but we figured it was better to do it sooner rather then later.
Its not like ant bites it hurts! I have a pretty good pain tolerance so it may hurt some one else more or less then me.
