I am a filing clerk. Have been for about 16 months. Its so boring. I just hate and dread coming to work. I know its not uncommon to hate your job, but I rather stand on my feet all day at mcdonalds then this.
So who hates their job? What do you do? Why do you hate it?

theres no way to change it? the income is worth it? use sources like craigslist to go on other interviews, make a change or youll regret it!

Well the only reason I stay here is I am planning on going to college. And at least this job schedule is flexible so I can go to college in the evenings and some afternoons. That is one reason I stay. Another reason I stay is I have been job hunting for eight months. i have filled out numerous applications. Even for restaurant jobs, but no one is hiring. The economy is so bad that it is hard to get a job.

I work for myself and enjoy what I do, but sales have been so bad latey due to the economy that I seem to be working harder and harder for less and less money that really stinks. Have you tried looking for additional responsibilties at your company or let someone know that you would like to possibly move up to another position, and how you can go about doing that?
