hello, it is nice that you are updating your system. so here i will tell you the latest information about motherboards. the latest update in motherboard is DG31PR and DG31LR the main difference in these motherboards is in DG32PR there is a provision of graphics slot while in DG31LR it is not. likewise the other best motherboards are gigabyte and mercury but i will prefer you the intel. the processsor you use of your choice the core 2 duo 2.53 is the best processor. this motherboard come with two PCI slots,1 graphics card slot and 2 RAM slots. i am sure this configuration is best suited to you. have a nice day.

well asus and gigabyte r the topcontenders for mbs but nvidia is also there but its costly along with gfx card

Are you buying only a new motherboard, or are you buying everything new? If you only want to buy a new motherboard, you need it to fit with all the other components you got. So its a bit diffcoult for me to recommend something. If you are buying everything new, or dont need it to fit with anything you have already, the Asus P5 motherboard series are good, and not too expensive. If you want the hottest and newest on the marked, I would recommend the Asus P6T motherboards, or the Asus Rampage II Extreme motherboard. These motherboards are the newest on the market, and u need DDR3 ram, a Socket-1366 CPU for it.
