can Nokia 2626 bought in pakistan(Sim set) works in USA?

I am not sure about which frequencies are used for GSM sets in USA. Whether they using GSM 800 or 1800. I have a cell phone whose charger takes 200 volts. so that i know that i wil need a 110V charger but i am not sure whether it will work there or not. Anyone who has idea, let me know please .

In U.S., GSM cell phone carriers use one of 2 frequencies, or both in some cases as back up & roaming... Primary frequency is 1900... Some companies use 850... There are 3 major phone companies that uses GSM... T-Mobile, AT&T and Alltel... All of those companies utilize both frequencies... I know with T-mobile, using 850 mhz would be considered as roaming but in most of the cases & their plans, roaming is included... Some of the small local companies use 850 but most popular frequency here is 1900mhz...
