Did you see this? These animals are so cute. They look like the animals from the movie Gremlins. I did not know they really ever existed. Apparently they do. They are called pygmy tarsiers. They are one of the world's smallest and rarest primates. They have not been seen since 1921. Until now. Scientists thought they were extinct but they caught three of them on an island in Indonesia.

That's cool! I would imagine that there are many animals out there that we do not have any idea about. The world is a big place and still, if you can believe it, largely unexplored. just think about the oceans. we have no idea what's out there. Just the other day I read about the oldest ancestor of the octopus that they had just recently discovered. It is good to know that there still may be some animals out there that we thought were extinct and are wrong about. Hurray for our ineptitude! lol
